Avril Lavigne’s Malaysian concert to go ahead Avril Lavigne will go ahead with her cancelled concert in Malaysia - after winning the approval of the government. The concert had been axed following protests from a political party which claimed the pop star is “too sexy” to perform in the Muslim country. The Arts, Culture and Heritage Ministry has decided not to permit Lavigne’s show, claiming its content is unsuitable to Malaysian culture on the eve of the country’s Independence Day on Augu
